Review on 🔌 StarTech.com 1 ft USB Y Cable for External Hard Drive - USB A to mini B - USB 2.0 - 1 ft - Black - USB2HABMY1 by Ryan Hadden

Using this Y cable between my computer and an external DAC (digital to analog converter) for my audio system with a twist (see attached photos). With an additional power supply (battery power supply or linear power supply), the DC noise from my PC no longer reaches my DAC. All he needs is a tiny piece of tape for that cable and an extra power adapter (found on head-fi.org, thanks to member zilchm0d). There are many products from Schitt (USA), iFi (UK), etc. that cost between $100 and $300. My favorite scam is the $265 ($1.5M) iFi Gemini Dual Head USB Cable (British brand, made in China) which I believe is essentially the same concept as this USB Y-cable . . With this little Y-cable trick, I was able to save myself other fancy audiophile USB cables, because the result alone with this Y-cable was simply great.
