I used this in my car after a trip where I ate fast food in the car. My SUV smelled like Wendy's. I loaded this guy up, put it in my car and came back 12 hours later. My car didn't smell like Wendy's car anymore. It had a very neutral smell. The smell after vacuuming is difficult to describe. It didn't feel like an air freshener, but it definitely didn't feel like the bad smell of travel and fast food. Overall I would definitely use it again after a road trip with meals in the car.
