Cable was a great cable until it was different. I leave a cord plugged into the charger on the opposite side of the bed to keep my phone charged while I sleep. I've fallen asleep too many times watching Netflix on my phone without a charger and ended up missing my alarm, so the investment was a must for me. Tonight before I went to bed I grabbed my cord which was on the opposite side of the bed. My cable was not connected to any device at the time, it was connected to a charger. Lying on the sheets, he got so hot he started to melt from the current in the non-working USB cables. If I hadn't caught it this time, I would have looked at the fire. Buyers should be careful when getting this cable from Revain. I'm going back to wired USB phones.
