Works surprisingly well! That thing rocks! I wasn't expecting much from these things, but the wind noise reduction was impressive. My GoPro videos day and night. I wish I could wrap my helmet in this stuff! If they hold up and don't fall apart within 2 months, the benefits far outweigh the costs. If they fall apart I will revise my review. They are also great for snowboarding and boat racing. The only snag (or two): The front-facing screen is locked, which is inconvenient, but who cares. However, the biggest "problem" is that while wind noise is reduced by about 90%, overall noise capture is also reduced by a noticeable amount. I would guess 20% or more. Volume hasn't been an issue so far, so I'm not complaining, but I think for quieter recording conditions where wind noise isn't an issue, you might want to remove this.
