This windshield works great. The only downside is that it has to be pulled over the camera to install. This is normal, except that it must be removed to replace the battery, which is a common occurrence. On and off the corners diverge a bit, but the windshield is still fully functional. The price is great too! I highly recommend this item!

First of all thank you for this wonderful creation! If you have a GoPro, these windshields are a must! The sound before and after is amazing! Everyone knows the new GoPro is missing sound, but here is the answer to all those questions! I put these windshields on my Hero 5/Hero 7 and will not shoot without them!

I drive my truck off road at the weekend and suffer so much from wind noise in my videos that I can no longer watch these videos with this foam The noise has gone down dramatically, me can't say it's gone but now you can watch and listen to the video :) This foam sticks tightly to the case so you must be very careful when removing or installing it. Overall I would definitely buy it again.

Used on mountain bikes with Hero 7 Black. This reduced wind noise, but there was still a noticeable amount. I suspect this is because there is a cutout in the foam above the record button. When the bezel is on the Hero 7, the top mic is tapered a few millimeters to have the same face as the record button and is therefore not fully protected due to the notch.

I use this on Gopro Hero 7 Black for mountain bike downhill videos. It definitely helps against the noise, which is great, especially considering how cheap they are. It also fits GoPro chest frame/cage. I removed a star because they are VERY fragile. So be extra careful when putting it on or taking it off the camera. They tear very easily, especially in the corners.

Easily attach the camera and its exo bags. I was shooting something on a very windy day, so it seemed like there was no wind. Absolutely unbelievable. 1 disadvantage, the chamber cannot be ventilated and cooled, so it is very hot. My camera never overheated but I felt like it came close in the 1 hour I was shooting. But when you think about it, it's not this product's fault at all, it's mostly a compromise, good sound quality for a hot camera.

Works surprisingly well! That thing rocks! I wasn't expecting much from these things, but the wind noise reduction was impressive. My GoPro videos day and night. I wish I could wrap my helmet in this stuff! If they hold up and don't fall apart within 2 months, the benefits far outweigh the costs. If they fall apart I will revise my review.
