Despite the bad reviews from some people I took a chance as they seemed to be the best non-OEM product that was much cheaper than Brother's OEM cartridges. Well, never again. I didn't install them until my original toner ran out, maybe a month after I received them. Toner immediately began to leak from the cyanide cartridge. Thought it was just an initial problem and/or a mistake on my part. Printer and cartridges cleaned and reinstalled. Everything was fine for a few pages, then the cyanide started flowing again. I only lived with it for over a month because I was lazy and didn't need to print pristine copies. But now I have it and I have something else to replace it with. Must find some take away. Maybe bite the bullet and buy Brother. Update 09/30/14: V4INK immediately replied to my review (see comment). Since I had already purchased a replacement cyanide cartridge, I was given credit for the cost of the cyanide cartridge very quickly. I took a chance on buying another V4INK cyanide cartridge as it was only $16 and I think statistically I should get a good cartridge. I'll post an update when I install a replacement cartridge in a day or two. But I'm impressed with how V4INK tries to fix things. Update 10/31/14: I have raised the rating to 4 stars. Why? Now all cartridges are working properly. After replacing the cyanide cartridge free of charge thanks to a loan from V4INK, all leaks stopped. Why not 5 stars? Because if I was picky, the colors aren't exactly perfect, but definitely match what I need. Also, until V4INK improves quality control, there is still a risk of receiving a defective cartridge. Why not vote for a problem I'm having? In terms of value for money, there is something to be said. These V4INK cartridges are very cheap compared to the OEM product. Considering the difference in price and the fact that V4INK went out of their way to fix everything, I think it deserves 4 stars.
