USE PLIERS, NOT A HAMMER (review)

After breaking several of these knobs, I realized that it's best to use pliers with a wider nozzle (not sharp ones) to attach them. NO hammer and NO bare fingers. If you use a hammer, even if you try to be careful, the bit will bend, loosen, and eventually break. Especially if you try to fix it by scoring from the other side. They are secure enough when pushed all the way in instead of flexing multiple times like I did following the instructions. ]The front of the button came off and fell into the toilet. one day after attachment. If you don't want to have this experience, don't buy it. They do NOT screw in like I thought. They have a wedge-shaped design that is difficult to squeeze and painful with the hand. An attempt to clamp with pliers resulted in the buttons bending and snapping. As an engineer, this is a serious design flaw. Why isn't it just a screw design? It would be much easier and more reliable.
