The metal part of the scrubber is great. It washed away all the dirt and my pan looked like new. However, his claps are weak. It came off in the wash. The sponge was already too big when dry, but when it got wet it expanded even more. So the lock came loose. I wish they found a better way to keep it closed. The ring that's there is useless too. It will spin and pinch your fingers. That hurts. All in all this is a great product. Although I wouldn't recommend cleaning your pan with it after each use as the seasoning will come off and defeat the purpose of the cast iron.
