I have a drawer full of 3.5” diskettes, SmartMedia cards, Compact Flash cards, and other obsolete media. There are probably more in boxes and crates in the basement, and before I can throw them out I’d like to check them to see if they have any useful data. While this reader won’t do SmartCards it did read the CF cards without difficulty, and it’ll do the common SD cards, Sony Memory Sticks and a few others. For less than fourteen dollars it’s a good solution to a common problem.
