I got it so I had a choice of dashboard or windshield. Sticks well to the windshield but not the dashboard. I also used a custom dash adhesive disc and chose a smooth point so the entire disc adhered as directed. Epic failure. So. I had to use the less preferred option. It's ok, but I could have bought another one that only works one way for a better price. **Update: The support team contacted me and offered a replacement (or refund) after seeing this review. I received a replacement this week and will try to reinstall it. Very impressed with the customer care. For this reason I will definitely consider another Andobil product.
