Before I buy a helmet I read a number of articles online about the different types of bike helmets you can buy and the different ways to tell them apart. And I think I've forgotten almost everything. I use my helmet and bike to commute to work in NYC, and the traffic there is crazy enough that I'm happy to wear a helmet, even when I'm on my bike, obeying all traffic rules and observing all traffic lights. I like Bell Pulse. It's comfortable and the price seems reasonable to me. Of course I haven't had an accident with it yet.
