This tablet works great. It attaches to your stand and can be securely fastened to make it stable and safe to put on your gear. I use mine with a projector table stand and put my 15" MacBook on it and am not concerned about stability. My stand has a very thick tube and I was worried the stand wouldn't fit around it, but it opens just enough to snap into place. Regardless of the quality of the tray itself, I bought a roll of Velcro that I cut to size and use to further secure my laptop to the tray, not because I don't trust the sturdiness of the tray itself, but still make sure someone didn't accidentally hit it .
