This is the best! Next to my bed is a lantern with three different lightbulbs. It's impossible to put a bedside table next to my bed because of this lamppost. This little gadget has become my bedside table. It includes my phone, water bottle, and personal-sized humidifier. Someone should sell this to more than just musicians! I no longer have to reach to the top of the dresser on the other side of the lamp to get my phone etc and it's the easiest to attach which comes in handy for clumsy people

I know this shelf is positioned as a mic stand, but I attached mine to the music rest. This is a great shelf for my banjo supplies. When attaching a music rest, make sure it has a stable footing. This doesn't work with thin $12 folding stands that have a tiny vertical stand. I was concerned about knobs, picks, tuners, capos, and other little things cluttering my music stand.
