Review on Lonicera Formaldehyde Volatile Compound Temperature by Justin Pavelko

It does its job very well

My house has been renovated with a new kitchen. A new kitchen has many pollutants: cooking fat, construction dust, new paint, a new drywall. After all, what good is healthy food without healthy air? So I got this little device to measure my indoor air quality. It measures everything I care about: dust (PM2.5, PM1.0, etc.), organic hydrocarbons (aka cooking grease), formaldehyde (from paint and a poorly dried wall). the kitchen. This is intuitive: green is good, yellow is a warning. The exact nature of the pollutant is a mystery to non-chemists, but a quick Google search will tell you exactly what's wrong with your air. The device has a small fan that sucks in air for analysis, the fan is very quiet, you have to lift your ear a few centimeters to hear the noise. The unit is located at the end of the countertop approximately 8 feet from the stove/burner/oven. It's powerful enough to give quick and accurate readings - fire up the wok to sear a little and you'll see the reading rise immediately. I highly recommend this little air quality monitor. Especially if you live near sources of pollution (e.g. on a busy street) or if you suffer from allergies or asthma.
