I have been a daily user of a round brush head brand name electric toothbrush for more than 20 years. I have always found them effective, but on occasion I required something else. Being a frequent overseas traveler, I have always opted to carry a manual toothbrush whilst travelling because charging my current brush would require carrying another international plug converter. Given this item can be charged from various sources, I added this toothbrush to my travel bag, and it works for me. This one quick charges via USB and not with a base that must be constantly plugged in in the bathroom.I can see that some may not like using a Sonic Electric Toothbrush. Upon first use, I was a little shocked at the sensation. Do not get me wrong, it is totally tolerable but reminds me a little like that of the dentist drill, so if you are sensitive to that vibration, I would steer clear of sonic toothbrushes in general.It is immensely powerful, and it gets your teeth remarkably clean. Every time I use it, it is just like coming from the dentist office! I am glad I persisted with this because it has produced good results and will meet my travel needs, to be honest I am still using this product, having not returned to my regular toothbrush yet.
