Review on Sony INZONE Gaming Monitor Dimming 27", 144Hz, HDR, SDMU27M90, HD by Ben Sears

Careful. Quality Control Issues (Third Times The Charm)

Updated and partially edited. Bought a Dell and Razer monitor this year with no problems. Pros: Clear text. I would say on par with Dell Ultrasharp. Cons: No video cables included, no HDMI, no DisplayPort. I don't really like the stand. In any case with the holder. Complaint: Local dimming is mostly normal but sometimes noticeable, but in extreme cases. Example: mouse on a completely black background. See my picture with the mouse pointer. You can see a greyish tint. I pre-ordered it directly from Sony. The first to arrive had a purple veil on the left. Possibly worse than dead pixels. See my photos. Support contacted. YMMV, but they were surprisingly responsive. They sent a replacement. The shipping label was emailed to me. Guess what? Also defective, although not so bad. It has green dots on the right side of the screen. I contacted her again. A replacement will be shipped shortly. Finally, the third monitor is flawless. This time they didn't email me the shipping label but it was in the box. If anything changes during the year, I'll let you know. Be sure to check your label carefully during the return period. The bad batch was from 06/22, but so was my good batch.
