Review on International Concepts BJ6TD Mission Unfinished by Melody Stephens

I bought two of these for bedside tables because they are 28 inches tall. They were well packaged and assembly was easy with the few screws provided in the drilled holes. These tables are very durable and well made. I dyed them dark mahogany and they held up well. I applied 2 coats of stain and 2 coats of urethane wet sanding with 400 grit sandpaper between coats. While they may not look as good as $400-$600 mahogany furniture, given the price I give them 5 stars. The top and shelf come together like a chopping block using 1-inch strips, which can be a problem if you plan on painting a light color and don't want it to look gaudy. The dark color I used requires you to look closely. notice.
