**edit** after tinkering with it I found thwy the compression release mechanism was not functioning. The spring on it was bent/stretched. Put a new string on it and it started. Also one day out of the blue the electric start showed up after the seller had refunded me and I got to keep it for free. It worked out in the end but it took 3 months to get it functional.Ordered the 10hp diesel. Arrived and everything seemed fine. Went to set throttle to "run" position (after bleeding injector lines and changing the oil which by the way was full of metal shavings) and noticed that the entire throttle/governor assemble was all bent up. I didn't want to deal with return freight so I fixed it myself. I CAN NOT get this thing started. When it does try to go it rips the recoil back so hard I thought I broke my pinky. Seller agreed to sell me electric start kit at discount. Ordered it, waited 3 weeks and it never showed. Seller says warehouse was "inspected" and I would have to reorder. The link they gave me just takes me to this page . Said they would discount one of their other motors. Even with discount code it's still cheaper from another seller, and that seller has prime. This was a total waste of money
