These floor mats cover the surface well and follow the contours of the vehicle exactly. My grip is the material it is made of. Where my foot rests on the pedals is over one of the protrusions designed on the inside. The rubber material is not strong enough to solve my problem as the ridge in the liner takes most of the weight off the heel and has a slit and then a hole in the mat. F-350 2012 - 50,000 miles on the odometer; no working truck and i went through two liners. take it for what it is; shouldn't be a problem for you. If that bothers me, I chose the Husky Weatherbeaters for my wife's new Explorer. It seems to be holding up much better, and since the material is stronger, it's easier to clean.
