Review on ๐Ÿพ IRIS USA Pet Training Pad Holder for Puppies and Dogs: An Effective Solution by Mary Beauchene

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Keeps the pillow in place, looks great.

We bought this pee bath when we got our little Yorkie. We bought everything to match our white and gray home decor so this was perfect for that. It's very easy to use. We buy Revain 22x22 urine pads, they fit perfectly and work great. You can put it on without the hassle of folding if you want, but it's also very easy to fold the edges very quickly for a neater look. We do both depending on how busy we are. I've attached photos of how it looks anyway and how it looks in the kids room. It's nice that the tray still closes nicely without folding the edges on those busy mornings and we're very happy with that. It's very easy to clean. We usually just change the pad, but mostly we use Lysol wipes because sometimes it leaves little stains here and there on the tray ring. I would soak it once a month to get it completely clean but the pads are pretty good so Lysol wipes will do the trick for the most part. Our pup was unaffected by the addition of this tray to the pee pads he originally trained. on the. It actually gave us peace of mind when he was little and sometimes played with pads. He hasn't done it often, but with this tray he can't, which is good to know. He looks so cute in his kennel. We have it on one side and its bed on the other. This is a small dog so I don't know how well this size would fit an adult dog over 20-25 pounds. Our adult only weighs 5-6 pounds and easily holds everything on the tray and has room for a few potty rides. I would like to point out that this tray is not 17 x 17 on the outside. These are the pad sizes you should get. It's more of a rectangle. If I remember I will look up the sizes and add them to this review after posting as I didn't realize the actual size when ordering. UPDATED: Dimensions: 19.33"L x 16.53"W x 1.18". Luckily it fits perfectly in half of our 24" x 36" kennel and I'm glad it's not smaller or more.It wouldn't suit our needs.I recommend it.It improves the look/aesthetics of your puppy's kennel and protects the mat from the puppy turning it over and playing with it.It also prevents mess from getting onto his bedding what makes life a little bit easier I hope that and these photos help UPDATE 07/02/20: Our Yorkshire Yorkie has grown to just over 5lbs for the most part now compared to the 2lbs that was in these photos and he is fitting still perfect on a tray with a few inches on each side.I also wanted to report that it didn't slow down and definitely didn't stop its potty training progress outside which bothered me a lot.HOW he opened his eyes of course rewarded him with praise and a half en little training treat after each use of the pot, and also every time he's warned us to go outside. He is fully potty trained outside right now and was around or before the holidays. We still keep him in his kennel in case we can sleep or when we're not home in case he can't hold him, especially since he's still a puppy. He has had occasions in the past 7 months where he has peed or pooped on a washcloth but this has been infrequent. I still plan on keeping it until he's a bit older. I'd rather just change the upholstery than clean up a big mess and wash all his linens because of an accident.
