Update: I ordered another pair for the front cabin doors of a 2002 Silverado 1500HD. They fit perfectly and are very quick to assemble. Disconnect the window knobs, remove the two screws in the door panel, remove the triangular piece forward over the door panel, and then lift the door panel up and off the door frame. Tip: Take the time to disconnect all wiring harnesses from the panel and keep it in a safe place. Attempting to leave the wiring connected will damage the wires going to the wire harnesses. If you're stubborn like me, take a moment to snap a photo of each wire harness, making sure to clearly show each wire color. This saves you a lot of problems during repairs in the event of an accident. These straps seem complicated, but they are all different sizes and only have one key. Also, in most cases, they are long enough to get where they need to be, making them very easy to mount. To remove the speakers after removing the door panel, simply press the top clip, wiggle the top of the speaker and lift. Remove the speaker wire clip from the speaker. You only need one key for the door panel, everything else can be attached and is very quick. I had two pairs of these speakers that failed quicker than expected, as did other reviewers, and I initially rated them with that fact in mind. However, it was raining during this last repair and when I removed the current buzzer set I noticed that they were wet. So most likely the plastic water seals in the door were damaged or the wiper needs to be replaced. Once you have a set of these speakers installed, take the time to test them out after heavy rain to ensure they stay dry. These speakers have paper cones and are not designed to get wet. I hope that fixing the water issue in the door will result in these speakers lasting much longer. The sound quality is the same as when buying a truck, good but nothing special, hence 3 stars. If you prefer original hardware and easy installation, this is for you. I would rate the installation of these speakers 5 stars.
