Direct replacement that works. This is a speaker

The speaker was a direct replacement. Installation was easy, a quick search turned up a video to show me the process. The price is reasonable and the speaker does its job of playing music.

  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Long delivery time

My Suburban sounds like new again

Exact replacement front speakers for my 2002 Suburban. Let's go back to the factory good sounding music. At first I lived in denial, thinking I just had a bad speaker (right rear). I substituted this one and quickly found out that the other 3 were also toast. Do yourself a favor and swap out all four. Subwoofer too, while it's your turn. (mine were all bad) My truck was fun to drive again.

  • Quality workmanship

Great for car electronics

The right speaker in my truck was giving me death rattles and I needed a replacement. This speaker fits perfectly and sounds just like the original. If you are new to car door disassembly, there are great videos on Youtube that cover most of the secrets and tricks for disassembling and reassembling a door. The hardest part is figuring out the connections on the connectors. The only special tool needed is a very small pry bar, which is widely available and inexpensive.

  • cool product

OEM is easy with Auto Electronics

It wasn't hard to come by. I had my 2002 Suburban door panels removed in 10 minutes and replaced the speakers a few minutes later. There is a strong case for replacing an old, broken part with the same part that works. No measuring or drilling required, the speakers offer the same high fidelity as the original set when it was new. It made my wife very happy that the music was back on all the speakers in the car instead of just trying to hear something on the rear speakers. What a difference in…

Sounds good, but not for long (humidity)?

I bought these in 2015 and lasted a few months. An apparently exact replacement for my 2002 Silverado Crew Cab (apart from the date stamp) as I replaced both front and rear. The originals were flimsy and torn, visibly weathered (accidentally cracked windows during rainy season), but they lasted for several years. This time, with more care, they lasted several months and sounded just as bad as the originals. With the windshield removed, for further visual inspection, the cones showed wrinkled…

Easy installation and great sound quality!

My 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, the speaker in the driver's door stopped playing and the sound from the passenger side was no better. It's a good old truck, but I really didn't want to go to Best Buy and pay over $250 to replace the front door speakers. I saw a YouTube video on how to remove the door panel and replace the stock speakers (which literally just plug and snap) so I went with that option. I'm so happy I did! I simply removed the door panel, removed the old speaker (which was definitely

The sound is great, but not recommended!

In December 2012, I replaced the front door speakers in my 2001 Silverado with the same AC Delco speakers for $38 each. The voice coil of one of the new loudspeakers recently broke. (I use the original radio and do not abuse the volume). No guarantees, of course, so I ordered and installed this replacement, now at $58 each. Let's see how this one works! Otherwise good OEM Delco AC factory parts and at the best price from Revain. The new speaker's voice coil became intermittent and Revain…

Easy installation - won't get wet.

Update: I ordered another pair for the front cabin doors of a 2002 Silverado 1500HD. They fit perfectly and are very quick to assemble. Disconnect the window knobs, remove the two screws in the door panel, remove the triangular piece forward over the door panel, and then lift the door panel up and off the door frame. Tip: Take the time to disconnect all wiring harnesses from the panel and keep it in a safe place. Attempting to leave the wiring connected will damage the wires going to the wire…
