My 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, the speaker in the driver's door stopped playing and the sound from the passenger side was no better. It's a good old truck, but I really didn't want to go to Best Buy and pay over $250 to replace the front door speakers. I saw a YouTube video on how to remove the door panel and replace the stock speakers (which literally just plug and snap) so I went with that option. I'm so happy I did! I simply removed the door panel, removed the old speaker (which was definitely broken) and replaced it with this one. Sounds perfect, like the sound of trucks was back on day one. I'm swapping the other side and can't wait because I love music (hard rock and country mostly) and will be jamming on the streets soon!
