Review on 🔊 Front Door Radio Speaker - ACDelco GM Genuine Parts 15038566 by Philip Breeze

I bought these in 2015 and lasted a few months. An apparently exact replacement for my 2002 Silverado Crew Cab (apart from the date stamp) as I replaced both front and rear. The originals were flimsy and torn, visibly weathered (accidentally cracked windows during rainy season), but they lasted for several years. This time, with more care, they lasted several months and sounded just as bad as the originals. With the windshield removed, for further visual inspection, the cones showed wrinkled deformation (particularly since they sounded worse), but didn't look weathered like the originals. The rear speakers are still okay. I'll try the 19116641 set, although reviewers say it "doesn't fit my 2002" and is cheaper. I park the truck outside.
