Review on Razer Opus X Wireless Low Latency Headset: Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) - Bluetooth 5 by Rob Dixon

Revainrating 1 out of 5

What a disappointment. Razer missed the target.

Although I love Razer I am returning my quartz headset. It is not worth! After a week and a half of daily use. Here are my notes: #1 Microphone: I speak to dozens of customers every day and every single one of them left a comment on my microphone. It's either too muffled, it sounds like I'm too close to the mic, or my favorite comment was "I poop in the bathroom". I am sending mine back because either my mic is broken or Razer just bombed this one. EACH PERSON, who I spoke to complained about my microphone - it's worth noting. Something must be wrong with him. BUT it can only be my microphone, not any headset. #2 Noise Cancellation: Although they do have a noise cancellation feature, let me get that straight. This is a feature for YOU, not the person you are speaking to. I can still hear the people in the other room but they are far away and very quiet. However, my clients can hear everything they say. Also, I'm going to take something out of the printer, and it's going to be very noisy for those I'm on the phone with, while I can barely hear them. #3 Extra Features: There is an app, but it doesn't really do much. . Shows only battery life and gives you game mode and an ANC button, which you can activate on your real headset. When someone calls My headset does not ring and there is no answer or hang-up sound. There are no controls for pause/play, next/previous, and while it does give you voice command instructions - none! This is a standardized guide only and not specific to any headset. #4 BIG PROBLEM: If your charger gets disconnected while charging, it sometimes (not always) gets stuck in charging mode. The green light keeps flashing and won't let you turn it on or use it at all. The only way to get out of here is to plug it back in and charge it fully. * Overall: not worth the money or time. Razer customer support is gone. I got in touch last week but still no reply. and although it gives you voice command instructions - there aren't any!
