For years I have endured long journeys without a radio in my 1998 Mercedes Benz ML320, my children have locked the radio, put coins in the tape recorder and I have had several battery failures resulting in in my stereo no visible options at all. It turned out to be dead. After looking at the Mercedes forums and videos on You Tube I decided to solve this problem myself as I live in a rural area and there is only one crowded and expensive mechanic nearby. I used these tools to pull out the stereo and pulled out the blown fuse on the back of the radio. , also made $0.36 from the tape recorder. Yes. Problem fixed for less than $20 with this and a new fuse!
