Overall I’m totally disappointed with this item. The buffers battery only lasts about 10 minutes on each full charge. So buffing the roof of my car is turning out to be a lot more work than planned.The final straw was the machine overheats and then shuts off. When I was using the machine outside it was 67 degrees outside.I tried to give this unit a second chance and both times I’ve purchased it has left me disappointed.

This polisher is capable with a good battery (can't comment yet on how it performs over time). I received it quickly after ordering it. After trying it using ceramic polish on my BMW I saw great results with the absence of any water spots or swirling.which is significant because ceramic, while providing excellent protection, can be tricky to apply. It comes with 6 speeds and a battery with charger. Overall an excellent value and good alternative to corded products!

The only things I don’t like about it are the battery life and the power of the motor. When you put the pad on and lay it on your car, it automatically slows the speed of the motor. Even with no pressure, the motor isn’t powerful. I had to put it on medium speed in order to use it properly. No 2 of green lights.It also doesn’t immediately turn off when you push the power button. That is a minor issue though.

Very nice kit. Kit bag is of nice quality made of rip-stop material with a nylon lining, with mesh pockets on one side on the inside to hold items. This seems like a great tool, although the first time I used it, it seemed to lack power. I put it on the charger but that did not help. See why? Look closely at the 4th pic. - missing negative charging terminal ! I opened the charger and sure enough, there was no terminal on the board! I tried to polish some clear coat fading on my car and didn't have much luck. i am new to polishing, so it's probable that wasn't doing things right, or was trying to correct too much fading, but I did not have any success. I was using rubbing compound and polish with the cloth attachment and the green foam pad attachment respectively. I will blame my lack of success on my inexperience, or the quality of the pads. Something to know before buying. It instructions it states that polishing pads with a diameter of 4-1/2" may only be used on the KIMO Power Polisher, all other sizes are strictly forbidden.Also, does not mention size of spindle at all even after purchase. This is my 5th Kimo product. Every one is a 5 star! Great bang for your buck. This buffer gets into places that my large buffer can't reach. Battery life is excellent. Charging is fast. Love my Kimo tools!

This polisher is pretty handy and light weight. I am able to use this to wax my whole car with a single battery. There are 5 speed settings. Red is the slowest. Blue is the fastest. I use the orange and first green setting for the whole waxing job. The last 2 setting spin too fast for my application. The car wax will spin out of the sponge at high speed and make a mess. I have ordered this product twice because of the faulty manufacturing parts at first I couldn't get the first unit to come on and the second had a bad charger that would not reset. In addition, I going to get another one maybe I will get one that would work.

Overall, a very nice tool to have. Easy to use, very light and if you take a look at the picture and video, gets the job done. As long as you don’t expect it to do the job of your normal DA or Rotary polisher you will find and get a lot of use out of this.Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the backing pad has an obscure thread size. most polishers are 5/16-24 but this is bigger so finding a back up or a smaller size will be tough.
