Update: I've seen other bad reviews and most of them are pretty accurate. The picture is NOT what was sent to you. look at my photos Product photos should resemble my old high end plastic/rubber collar. A completely different model was sent to you with a fabric collar, but the box shows the model number in the photo (see model PDT00-13625, this is the actual collar you will receive). *** I have just received this collar and my dog. I didn't even wear it a week before the phone fell out of the lanyard! The contacts and parts that hold it to the collar are nowhere to be found (and a replacement is just as hard to find online). One day I came home and found the receiver on the floor but the collar was still on my dog. I didn't use it 24/7 and my dog didn't wear it that often. I treat him to rest periods, during which I take him off for half a day and then put them on again when needed. It worked great when it was a solid piece. But I am very upset with Petsafe's poor design and this product that will break in just a few days! I already had an Elite remote dog system over a year ago, but the original collar no longer works. I figured buying this extra collar would be a cheaper replacement solution to keep using the working remote. However, the design of this collar is completely different from the Elite collar (see attached pictures). This is a fabric collar that has holes for attaching the receiver, but there are many extra pieces between the receiver and the contacts to hold it to the collar. In fact, the collar tends to fall apart, which is what happened. My original Elite collar doesn't have this problem as the collar doesn't fit between the receiver at all. Thus the contacts are secure with very little chance of falling off as there is nothing between them. Another downside was that this collar didn't sync with my remote as the instructions said. I had to play around with the buttons on the remote and try different combinations until the dog number option appeared. It was still having connectivity issues, so I just made an extra collar as a "first dog" variant, not a "second dog", which finally got it working. Because I can't use the contacts on my Elite collar. (contact lenses) with an additional collar (contact lenses), now it's just a huge waste of money for quality that just doesn't exist.
