The JIUSION microscope comes in a small but sturdy box. The box contains a JIUSION microscope, a USB cable (connected to the microscope), two adapters, a microscope stand, a manual and a calibration card. I have Android and the program can be easily downloaded to the phone. You can use the program proposed by JIUSION or find others on Google Play that better suit your needs. The stand that comes with the JIUSION microscope is better than the previous one. The previous microscope tended to "wiggle" even when tightened. This does not apply to the 2K HD JIUSION microscope. The one that comes with this model doesn't seem to suffer from "jiggling". After installing and tightening, the microscope frame did not move. He held tight and in place. Depending on how much you want to do with the microscope, you might want to consider buying a separate stand that offers a more traditional overhead view of what you're looking at. This is to get close-ups down to the grain of the rocks and minerals I'm looking at. I had a previous version of the microscope and it seemed pretty good to me, but I am very impressed with the detail offered by the new JIUSION microscope. 2K HD lets you take close-up shots and reproduce details that can even be magnified once downloaded to your computer. Just a reminder, when looking at uneven surfaces you may have areas that are "blurred". This is normal due to different focal lengths. The microscope is ideal for use in the field. It is lightweight and takes up little space to pack for geology trips. It also gives you a chance to look at the stones without having to lug them back to the office or home. The 2K HD camera delivers crisp, detailed images of whatever you want to see. For me it's stones. I recommend the JIUSION 2K HD microscope for its flexibility and sharp images.
