before I used this the only 'foamer' I used was the steam dispensing portion of our espresso machine. Most mornings I just don't have time to bother with Starbucks, let alone our espresso machine. so for a few months it was just black coffee. Nothing wrong with that, I just prefer a little softer. So on Thanksgiving when I saw this, I saw it and thought it was worth a try. It suits my needs well. It is easy to use and very fast. I prefer to use half and half which works better in my experience. very easy to clean. I soak mine in a cup of warm water for a few seconds before walking out the door. This will remove most of the residue. Unfortunately, it is not rechargeable and requires two AA batteries. I've tried rechargeable lithium, rechargeable nickel cadmium, and standard disposable alkaline batteries. I have found that using high capacity rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries gives me more time before they need to be replaced. If you're curious, Amazon sells a lot. So overall, although I haven't had it for very long, I'm happy with this little foam vine. it does exactly what it promises.
