My 6 year old was ready to quit swimming lessons because he was constantly freezing in the pool. It really affected his ability to learn and we thought we might have to find another swim school or stop teaching altogether. Found this wetsuit and decided it was worth a try given the price - and it works really great! It fits well (he's 6.49 inches tall and about 50 pounds and we're the recommended size for his age and it fits almost perfectly) and is relatively easy to put on and take off, although he does need help to pull his legs out. wet feet. It seems well done. Will update this if anything changes, but after a few uses we're really happy! UPDATE: Our boy is now 8 years old and has outgrown his first wetsuit which we never had a problem with. It was at the top of the size 10 size chart (it's about 53.5 inches) so we ordered it. It's a bit big at the moment but the material is stretchy enough to be worn without rolling up the sleeves and legs, it's just a bit baggy. And is still working to keep him warm in the cold water at his swim school. We are still satisfied with the product and the price.
