I bought this mic in December 2013. Instructions followed - plug and play, right? Nothing. Fixed all issues, contacted support service. Followed their email instructions to the letter. Again nothing. I've tried several times over the years to get this mic working in the hope that I wouldn't have to buy another mic. Searched a YouTube video for troubleshooting information. I saw reviews that said the mic worked great for the price and hoped it would eventually work. Based on online video reviews, it has a well-built microphone and nice sound for podcasts and voiceovers. I first worked with Windows 7 in 2013, then I got a new laptop with Windows 10. Again nothing. At this point I think the mic is FAILURE. Is there a problem with the driver? I thought the thing connected and working? Earlier this week I emailed customer service and received an email directing them to send the mic in for inspection and repair. Of course, I'll cover the shipping costs. At the moment I'm not sure if I'll cover the cost of the repair as I bought the mic in 2013. Jada, Jada. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. Yes, I know I bought this microphone in December 2013, but it's an Audio-Technica product, right? Don't they support their products? Anyway, the mic cost me $48 in 2013. Everything is brand new in the packaging. I don't need it so I decided to buy another microphone. There are many good reviews for this mic and as I mentioned earlier the mic offers good value for money based on the YouTube videos I've seen. I'm writing this review to let you know that I bought a faulty microphone and despite everything I did to get it working it never worked. Personally I will never buy anything from Audio-Technica again and will tell my family and friends (worldwide) to even consider this company. That's incredible. I do not understand. For real. $48 for a mic is NOTHING, and the company can get such a review. Now you know. You will decide. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER.
