I've cleaned hummingbird feeders for years with these nifty little mops. They work hard and eventually give up, usually after a slow decline and the occasional loss of a piece of sponge. But the new party disappointed. I ordered three mops to keep clean water. I'm glad I did. The first mop fell apart after the fifth use. Thinking it might be an accident, I got a #2 mop. It also fell apart after a few uses. Mop number 3 hasn't arrived yet, but my expectations are low. I'm not sure what might have changed, but the product just doesn't seem to be what it used to be.
