Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I don't know what temperature is considered normal for this processor. My old i7 930 didn't get above 60 degrees under load, the new i7 8700k is 15 degrees hotter. If you listen to Intel, then you can safely heat up to 90 degrees. But how long will he live with these temperatures? Different pros: Excellent performance. My previous i7 930 served me for almost 8 years, but I had to change it because of the latest games. I hope the new one lasts just as long. Has some cons: 1. Strange behavior of temperature sensors. As many have written, temperature indicators jump from 30 to 42 degrees within a second. If you turn off TurboBoost, temperature jumps disappear. Apparently a sharp increase in speed gives the same sharp increase in temperature. 2. Generally quite hot. With a processor, I bought a DeepCool Gammaxx 400 cooler for 1800. After an hour of playing BF1, the maximum temperature rose to 75 degrees. On average, during the game, the temperature is kept at 65 degrees.
