Review on Wi-Fi adapter TP-LINK TL-WN822N, white by Krisha Kanth ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

I bought it more than half a year ago, revision 3. I worked on 64-bit Win7, there were no problems at all, there were no dumps either when surfing, or in games, or when downloading torrents. I ated the hardware, installed 10k 64bit - the driver was installed by Windows itself, there were problems, namely, sometimes in a short idle WiFi it fell into "Without access to the Internet" - it was solved by disconnecting the connection connection. I solved the problem as follows - turned it off in Power Options - USB Options - Temporary Disable USB Port Options - Disable. In the properties of the adapter in the equipment - disable the permission to turn off the device to save power. I also disabled this checkbox for USB hosts on the motherboard. If you also have a TP-Link modem - in the WiFi settings - Wireless mode - Wireless protection - Group key ate period - 0 After these manipulations, all glitches during the operation of the computer disappeared, the torrent works to the fullest, there are no lags in games, surfing without problems - no dumps. There is only one problem left - when you turn on the computer once every other time, WiFi still on the login screen goes into the "Without access to the Internet" mode - after loading the desktop - click Disconnect - connect and the problem does not bother anymore - until the next time the computer is turned on.

Pros
  • High data rate, stable signal
Cons
  • When loading a PC, WiFi connects but "Without access to the Internet", problems in win10 without dancing with a tambourine
