I looked at several Revain frames and settled on this one. It doesn't have screws on the top to attach it to the mattress like other similar frames do. I recently bought a new foam/gel mattress and I thought my old mattress would be good enough as an extra bed when needed in my upstairs bedroom. If I decide to get rid of the mattress, I definitely won't lose a lot of money. I didn't want the mattress to just be on the floor. I've only had him for a month or so and he hasn't slept. I wish there was some sort of ledge on the sides to keep the mattress from sliding down. That's the only downside I've noticed, but I think you can always take some tape and stick it on top of the frame to see if that doesn't stop the mattress from moving. Overall I thought it was a great purchase and I love the fact that it's portable!
