Bought this for my sewing machine because I didn't like the standard light on my machine. I charged the Flex with the USB-C cable that came with it. It took about 30 minutes for the charging LED to fully illuminate. The green light bar will flash while charging, then stop when fully charged. Has 3 light levels. Low Medium High; Lots of light for sewing. The flexible neck easily points in the desired direction. (I personally point out where I sew because I do a lot of intricate quilting) The light color is yellow or neutral rather than blue. This makes the colors look right. I love that it has a kickstand that attaches to the car with velcro. The light just pops in and out of the mount without having to "break" the velcro each time. so it can be easily removed for charging. I used it on high for about 5 hours with no power outage. The pack says it runs 4 hours on high, 7 hours on medium, and 12 hours on low. Pros: I like that there is no cable. (My last corded flashlight was always in the way and was uncomfortable) Light doesn't get hot Small, low profile, doesn't bother Long-lasting battery Color temperature seems pretty neutral 3 light levels USB-C charging cable (much better than micro-USB) Pretty bright for such a small device Flexible neck puts light where you need it Great value at $24.00 Cons: I forgot turn it off a few times Wish I could so it has some accessories for hand sewing etc. I'm not sure how many charge cycles it has. I just bought two extra coasters (for $5) so I can easily move them back and forth on my long arm and serger. Overall very happy with the light and the price. would recommend.
