Review on Feit Electric FC12 840 LED by Louis Nakashima

Supplied as stated to replace the standard without ballast bypass. Bright light 4100K. However, like other reviewers, I had trouble getting it into the mount because the electrical contacts are attached at the wrong angle in relation to the tube. Most ceiling lights hold the fluorescent bulbs flush and the wires must come out of the light fixture to connect. Standard fluorescent lamps have a certain amount of latitude when it comes to the luminaire connection. These tubes have an angled connection that requires the wires to go up, away from the side that emits light, and so the wires prevent you from attaching the tube properly. So you have to push it in at a slanted angle so it's not fully secured and hope the friction keeps it from falling out. I did it, but not perfectly. I can't comment on the durability, just installed it. It would be nice if the Feit was offered in neutral white color options like the 3500k.
