I ended up buying two 2 1/2" screws to install the mount. The screws that came with it were too short (1 1/2" long) to attach the mount to the mount With the insulation I couldn't get the supplied screws into the bracket.Once I got the longer screws it was easy.It would be a lot easier if you could attach the light to the bracket with a threaded bolt and so attach the light to the ceiling holds.The same process as attaching the glass ball, but is also used to attach.;Review of the design department.In general, I like the lamp, except for one stage of installation.
