Review on πŸ”Ί Revolutionizing PC Cases: Azza CSAZ-804V Pyramid with RGB Fan, Black by Nick Andep

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this case BUT

The graphics are amazing and the space to work on the computer after installing the motherboard is much better than traditional cases. A few things to note: 1. The power supply is attached to a removable bracket under the base. Using a smaller PSU (500-600W) probably won't cause any problems, but an 850W PSU like mine limits the space available for cable management to the point where I cut my hands trying to blind cables to push/pull through small spaces.2. The very neat looking fan at the top of the pyramid is completely the wrong way round on most ATX boards, the RGB cable will never reach the connector on most standard breadboards. Before you start, check where these connectors are and decide if you need to rotate the fan, 8 screws hold it in place and 2 more hold the cable to the case.3. Be sure to plug in the power cord BEFORE replacing the outer case. Once it's on, you'll need either very small hands or three-pronged fingers to connect it. 4. There are no instructions, so look carefully at the case before you start assembling. I've seen reviews that say you install the motherboard first. DO NOT do this as the PSU bracket above is secured with 5 screws and is only accessible by laying the case on its side, but the big problem lies in that fact. The board covers the largest access point to the under-board cavity, limiting your wiring access to a point where you will have difficulty.5. The 2 2.5" bays he mentions are in the same bracket, you stack 2 drives on top of each other. Once installed on the case, it is VERY difficult to connect the power and SATA cables to the drives. So make sure to connect them before installing the mount.6. You might be tempted to just slide the cables under the motherboard mounting plate and use the space that the 3.5" drive fits. DO NOT DO THIS as this area is visible when the outer case is on, leaving your beautiful, colorful PC with an ugly tangle of wires that will be visible to anyone looking to the left side of the unit. In general I like it, but I want to let people know about the little issues I had when going from a standard ATX tower to this one
