I've never had a dog in my life but 8 months ago I had the next thing: a Bengal. If you've never heard of this breed, think of an animal that looks like a cat but acts like a dog. They are incredibly smart and have a lot of energy, and if not used properly they will destroy everything you have (speaking from experience sigh). My Bengal would freak out at meals, jump on the counters, scratch me and just generally be an asshole. I bought this clicker as a last resort and it changed everything. As I said, I've never owned a dog, so I can't compare this clicker to other brands. I have a feeling this is the perfect size. It fits my hand well and is comfortable. The click is instant, which is key to conditioning. I've been using it religiously for about a month and now occasionally use it for other types of workouts. Holds up well and hasn't broken. It is compact so you can easily put it in your purse or pocket to take with you on the go. I have successfully taught my Bengal cat and my other cat to sit before feeding. While I don't think I'll be teaching my furry little ones to shake anytime soon, I'm excited to teach them to stay off the counters with this clicker.
