Review on 💡 Satco S3862 6-Pack 120V 60W G25 Silver Crown Medium Base Light Bulb by Maria Gonzalez

I bought these bulbs from a local lighting store last year for my Hollywood style light bar over my sink. They work well to reduce glare from bare bulbs. I found exactly the same lamp description on Revain at half price and ordered: Satco brand, silver crown, globe light, #3862 etc - all looked the same. The onions arrived and the packaging was different than before, but who cares about the packaging. What's also different is that the ring of material that sits in the base of the bulb is now an ugly rusty orange color, and since the bottom half of the bulb is clear glass, that colored ring is obvious. It just looks disgusting. Earlier lamps had a silver ring or something you couldn't even see. Not terrible, but definitely unattractive and disappointing. I'm too lazy to send them back and start over, but if your lightbulb is visible, consider that it may bother you too.
