I am using a car vent mount with an iPhone Xplus (larger cell phone); This rating is based on this device. Overall, this car mount is good. Its price makes it competitive with other similar offerings. I found the connection from the mount to my car's air vent easy to use and offered a relatively firm hold. There are two different "settings" on the car mount vent port; I've used the tighter of the two settings and have never had a problem with the mount detaching from the vent. The toggle switch on the back of the mount is the access point to the vent mount settings and the handlebar. Once you find the correct voltage setting, you most likely won't need to change it. Although access to this toggle switch is on the back of the mount, you won't be using it often. My favorite part of this mount is the seat that the phone itself sits on. The seat offers enough space for a large phone like mine when open. To fit your phone into this seat, simply squeeze the side of the seat until it is snug. It's very simple and you'll be using it a lot, which is why I get a lot of points for being so easy to use and adapting well to the phone. Relatively simple, but if you press the button while holding the jaws or other supporting fastener, the jaws won't open. I've found that if you loosen the collar a bit, at least on my phone, the mount becomes too loose to even let go. It's a problem when you try to fine-tune it (which you do).
