Nicest sketchbook I have

I bought this sketchbook from a small art store in the US for high school art classes that needed an 11x14 sketchbook when I saw that it was the cover I fell in love with it from all the other covers I saw that others do (a lot of the dull browns and greens or the pencil on the cover or the pencil drawing). anything, or a half-finished sketch that I have nothing to do with, or a wooden model, phew. I've been using them for *years* and have had enough of them for years.) I saw this sketchbook and fell in love with the art on the cover. Well, they knew exactly how to attract an artist! He still inspires me today! I've used it with a small selection of mediums (pencil, ink, crayons, crayons, charcoal and, um, watercolor pencils) all of which worked great. The paper has a clearly visible texture, although not very textured. As for pencils, since that was my main use: you can still create simple, flowing pencil lines and sketch gracefully without feeling much resistance from the outside. Paper. You won't feel your pencil falling into "cracks" or getting in the way of the texture as you draw (although it's definitely there and visible, and if you want incredibly smooth paper it's not. If you want incredibly textured paper, where you *feel* the texture while sketching isn't the same either.) Personally, I really enjoyed working with this paper, especially because although I mostly worked with pencils, I liked the ability to switch it up and switch. to other media whenever I wanted without having to pull out another "sketch" album made for that particular material (like watercolor, charcoal, or pastel). quite cute, despite the fact that I constantly attach pencils and pens to it (which *ruins* the spiral binding of a lot of my other sketchbooks), and it survived being tossed into my backpack, a large bag filled with other works of art and a handbag. Items that have survived treks handle with them non-art lovers and just carry them with me wherever I go. This is a pretty sturdy sketchbook and I have little to complain about!

Pros
  • Double size for easy wet media use
Cons
  • Non-automatic
