Great little amp for the price. Use it within your limits and it works great.

Now I have two AIYIMA amps, this is model A1001, 100w unit and another model, 300w unit. Let's talk about the 100-watt device I'm reviewing here. "The small amps are well packaged and come with a power supply unit and operating instructions. I used it to have an old Klipsch powered 12 inch subwoofer in my workshop. The speaker is still good but the platen amp is dead dead. I was evaluating the swappable wafer amps and was about to buy one when I found them while searching. The plate amplifier in the device was designed with 4 ohms and 250 watts. Knowing it was around 15 years old (subwoofer) I figured the 100w AIYIMA A1001 would be a good addition. I was impressed with the packaging. A well designed box with a foam cut out that separates the amp from the power supply during transport and if you need to store the amp when not in use the box is sturdy enough to be used for that as well. I carefully unpacked it and inspected it for loose or missing parts. I found everything in place and ready to be plugged in and used. I went into the Klipsch subwoofer, connected the speaker wire to its speaker terminals and just fed that speaker wire through the connector tube. That was the quickest way so far. I turned it on and the amp made no clip sound, no hum, no line hiss and only needed about half the power to hit a 12" Klipsch speaker. Later I increased it to 2/3 turns and lots of bass. The additional frequency control affects what signal goes to the subwoofer, allowing me to mix it into the speakers and get the whole system sounding great again. I was willing to spend about $200+ dollars. onto a plate amp that would only match this subwoofer and for about 1/4 the price I now have an amp that I can use anywhere speaker wire is available. stored in hot weather and the power supply and the amp itself are barely warm to the touch. I bought the 300 watt version for a project that needed more watts, but I would not hesitate to buy these again. Have fun with the photos of the construction. Good luck with your projects. GOD BLESS John
