Review on Two Wheel Gear - 4-in-1 Water-Resistant Dayliner Box Bag - Versatile Bike Bag for Handlebars, Rear Trunk, Front Rack, or Carried as a Roll Top Messenger by Dmitriy Kingsley

Great trunk bag, VERY uncomfortable as a handlebar bag.

I don't know what they were thinking when they designed this. I've used it as a C pillar trunk bag which works great but definitely not a quick on/off. I just tried using it on a handlebar or other bike and it was very uncomfortable to put on at best. This is a two person job as the clasps are difficult to slide with one hand and there are 2 pads that should support the bag from the front but they are not permanently attached if you try to load the bag with a regular crowd Stuff to attach to a bike, the whole thing falls out along with the straps, which then have to be re-threaded. As a trunk bag, it's good and reliable, so I'll only use it for that, not for the steering wheel. The straps on the trunk area attach UNDER the luggage rack, which is more inconvenient than many other trunk bags that instead have Velcro straps on the sides of the bag. In the future I will go with the quick release bag style as getting the bag to the rack and taking it off is not a quick process. This is a nice, stylish bag that doesn't have the sporty look of a lot of the other panniers I like. I just wish the investments were more thoughtful.

Pros
  • Bike backpack accessories
Cons
  • Useless features
