Bought in December for a Mitsubishi 60' DLP - worked 'good' (I thought the picture was ok, my friend said she noticed it was a bit darker). Passed out in April. It didn't burn through completely, but the picture got so dark it was unbearable. So, in my opinion, money wasted. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is that it got me out of an awkward position as the moment my Mitsubishi lightbulb blew couldn't be worse - just before Christmas than that whole family was visiting. Paying $20 for this part instead of $130 was extremely important back then. However, I would like to know how short it will be. Maybe I could beg for the manufacturer's version, which I'll have to buy now anyway. PS- my ex roommate had the same TV (I liked it so much I decided to buy it when we broke up). He bought a cheap lightbulb when his one ran out and it worked fine. Not sure what brand it is, doesn't look like this one. If you can afford it and want to keep using DLP I would prefer the real part to avoid the hassle.
