    Total failure right out of the box

    Delivery was quick, great price but total failure right out of the box. Installs quickly and easily. The TV turned on. In less than a minute, the image on the screen flashed red, then turned greenish-gray, and then disappeared completely. while the TV sound continued. I reinstalled the previous lamp and the TV colors and pictures were fine. The only reason I bought this lamp was to get a brighter picture as the original lamp was fading. At this point I will wait for it to fail before replacing…

    The update still works and the picture looks the same as the day I installed it. Excellent purchase! I highly recommend it. I threw away my old TV (Mitsubishi 65 inch) to buy a new one. It sat on my porch for 2 days before I decided to go to Amazon to see if it was even for sale. I wasn't even sure if it was my problem, but it was worth the $28 chance to fix it. It arrived in 2 days and the best part is that it only took me about 10 minutes to exchange it. I didn't even need my husband's help…

    I would give this one 1 star but since the first bulb I bought worked I decided to give it another try.     I bought these back in 2016 after the lamp on my TV failed (bought used/cheap and already showing signs of needing a new lamp) and kept it on my playroom TV for over 4 years. My kids and I have put a lot of time into this over the last few years so I feel like I got my money's worth and can move on.     Only worked 4 months.

    Bought in December for a Mitsubishi 60' DLP - worked 'good' (I thought the picture was ok, my friend said she noticed it was a bit darker). Passed out in April. It didn't burn through completely, but the picture got so dark it was unbearable. So, in my opinion, money wasted. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is that it got me out of an awkward position as the moment my Mitsubishi lightbulb blew couldn't be worse - just before Christmas than that whole family was visiting.     I would give this one 1 star but since the first lamp I bought worked I decided to try it again.
