Review on Mitsubishi WD-60638/CA/WD-60738/WD-60C10 Lamp Replacement with Housing (915b441001) by Jamal Sandridge

Delivery was quick, great price but total failure right out of the box. Installs quickly and easily. The TV turned on. In less than a minute, the image on the screen flashed red, then turned greenish-gray, and then disappeared completely. while the TV sound continued. I reinstalled the previous lamp and the TV colors and pictures were fine. The only reason I bought this lamp was to get a brighter picture as the original lamp was fading. At this point I will wait for it to fail before replacing it with another non-manufacturer part. Judging by customer reviews, all these lamps have a 50% failure rate. Unfortunately, I just lost the coin toss.
