Review on iRobot Roomba 891 Robot Vacuum Cleaner - Wi-Fi Connected, Alexa Compatible, Perfect for Removing Pet Hair, Ideal for All Floor Types by Tammy Larsen

Our ground floor manager needs improvement.

Six dogs run this house. One of them is a Siberian Husky. Even though people say they only lose hair twice a year, they lie. Sir Fluffy Butt throws fur everywhere every day. In 2018 we jumped at the chance to buy Rosie at the Prime Day sale. Our iRobot Roomba is level 600. Rosie is beautiful if a little absent-minded. Sometimes there is a lot of hoarse wool. It requires frequent deep cleanings and sometimes gets lost, wandering aimlessly until the battery dies. Since joining our cleaning staff, all she has had to do is replace the spinner. Some simple repairs were attempted and eventually a superglue prosthesis was required. In 2019 Rosie was promoted to Upper Floor Manager and Geoffrey, iRobot Roomba 891, to Lower Floor Manager. By requiring more upfront payment we thought Jeffrey would be more efficient and have fewer problems getting stuck or just getting lost on the ground. Not once did Rosie take sick leave. Jeffrey? no He loves breaks and free time. Carpets are a challenge. He just can't jump from the hard floor to the carpet. So he stops and complains. home base? No, Geoffrey is too distracted and would rather rotate his base than dock. He took three weeks off to train iRobot and improve performance on two separate occasions. Six weeks vacation in one year. The first time it was necessary to replace the sensors. Second, nothing. The home base has been modernized and he seems to prefer it to his previous sleeping pad. Though he's at least docked at home base now, Geoffrey is hopeless. He is afraid of carpets, snags on the simplest object (a dog toy), keeps walking over the same spot ignoring others, can't stand even a tiny bit of dog hair in the trash can and constantly complains about it being emptied. , even if you just emptied. Four times this morning we found Geoffrey lying on the edge of the carpet. His track record for 2019 stands at "Improvement Needed". Rosie will spend her managerial days in the attic. It's an easier task, and she and her Spinner prosthesis still work with minimal discomfort. If the economy improves, we might have to let Geoffrey go. I will definitely look into other house cleaning companies. It's really hard to get good help these days.
